Wheatgrass Juices - Detoxify The Body

Dr Ann Wigmore(1909-1994), was an early pioneer in popularizing the usage of Wheatgrass as a health and wellbeing supplement. Dr Ann Wigmore founded the 'Hippocrates Institute, Boston, USA in 1963' and when she was very ill looked at nature to heal her, she completed extensive research and experiments to explore the therapeutic value of Wheatgrass after seeing how it helped her recover from Gangrene, after a serious leg injury. She travelled extensively and lectured in over 35 countries demonstrating the value of wheatgrass to the general wellbeing of athletes and the public alike.

But for many folks it is hard to add in 5 servings of vegetables a day as recommended by the government. An easy remedy to that is to drink WheatGrass Powder. Wheatgrass is more alkaline than any plant known to man!
 

 


Potassium salts are easy to find in most plants. The sodium salts are a little harder to find, and many people are deficient in them. Celery is high in sodium electrolyte minerals, and this is why I recommend celery as the foundation of juices.

Now let's make the smoothie: The main fail proof tools you need to produce a good smoothie are a banana and a blender. Any additional fruit or fruits can be fresh, frozen or in the form of juice. Yogurt adds vitamins and adjusts texture. Water or juice can be used for the liquid content. The proportions or combinations of ingredients you use are not that important. It can all vary according to taste. Or according to what's in season and what's plentiful.

 

 



You might want to get yourself a "masticating" juicer. This juicer is slightly different from normal juicers, since it can press the moisture out of the wheatgrass in a way that your normal juicer won't be able to. You can still use this juicer for all your other fruit and vegetables so it is definitely a good buy. You can use it more info with lettuce, herbs and spinach, to name just a few.

Colon cleansing foods consist of mainly unprocessed foods in their whole, or original form. Examples are fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and whole grains not processed to become bread. These types of grains are found in bulk such as rice, quinoa or couscous.

One of the best things you could do for your health is to only use extra virgin cold pressed oils such as cold pressed extra virgin olive oil,coconut oil, flax seed oil, and hemp seed oil.
